At Holloway Group, we are passionate about nurturing the next generation of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) leaders. Through our active participation in the STEM Community Partnerships Program (CPP) in Campbelltown, we are making a significant impact on fostering innovation and excellence in STEM education.
Recently, we had the privilege of collaborating with Macquarie Fields High School for an interactive session on a plastics project enquiry. Guided by their teacher Katherine Hannaford and STEM CPP industry mentor, Stephan Wagner, the students embarked on a journey of exploration, discovering the practical applications of plastics in modern manufacturing.
Our advanced manufacturing facility was abuzz with cutting-edge technologies, including robots, machines, and recycling processes. We were delighted to witness the captivation of the students as they interacted with the real-world applications of STEM principles. Jim Prior, Holloway Group's COO, and Karl Zielinski, our Manufacturing & Operations Manager, led the demonstrations, sharing valuable insights into the limitless potential of STEM.
As a company committed to empowering future innovators, we understand the importance of providing hands-on experiences to students. By encouraging young minds to pursue STEM education and careers, we are actively shaping the future of Australian manufacturing.
The STEM Community Partnerships Program serves as a bridge between schools, industries, and local communities, inspiring students to explore STEM education and career pathways. Through the CPP, we actively support the development of a skilled workforce, contributing to the growth of the STEM industry in Campbelltown and beyond.
Let's work together to shape a better future through STEM!
