Industry-leading innovation facilitator, Holloway Group is excited to announce that Managing Director Matthew Holloway has been named as a finalist with the Australian Young Entrepreneur Awards.
“I am extremely humbled by this nomination. It has made me reflect on the journey over the past decade, along with the sacrifices that have come with it,” he said of his nomination.
Matthew has helmed the Holloway Group machine for over a decade now, working his way through the business from a die setter on the factory floor to the organisation’s leading executive. Under his vision and guidance, the company has expanded from a single business entity, specialising in the manufacturing of plastic storage containers, to a portfolio of seven brands and a major player in the recycled plastics, sustainability, and innovation arenas.
Matthew and the Holloway Group team are passionate advocates of the power of Australian manufacturing and are dedicated to bringing manufacturing back to Australian shores, championing every stage of the manufacturing process to provide Australian businesses with an affordable and practical alternative to offshore manufacturing. A dedication which, during the COVID-19 pandemic, has paid off.
“Being an Australian manufacturer has certainly had its challenges and I am conscious that I wouldn’t be where I am with such a solid team behind me,” Matthew says. “I want to give a huge shout out to my crew at Holloway Group for their unwavering support and dedication to our cause. I feel like we’re only just getting started!”
As Matthew and the Holloway Group team continues go from strength to strength, it’s a humbling achievement to be recognised by Business News Australia and the Australian Young Entrepreneur Awards.
For over a decade, the Australian Young Entrepreneur Awards have uncovered the country’s top business minds and have put them in the spotlight for their talents and business acumen, while working to inspire the next generation of innovative, young entrepreneurs.
Finalists are selected by a panel from Business News Australia and winners are judged against several criteria, including financial performance, disruption, entrepreneurial spirit, vision and community impact.
A big congratulations to all the nominees and finalists. The competition this year has been fiercer yet more inspiring than ever before.
